Menu :
Main form
Inside Diameter : Inside diameter of vessel.
Shell Thickness : Shell thickness of vessel.
T.L to T.L : Distance between tangent line to tangent line.
Saddle Height : Height of skirt support.
Saddle Width : Diameter of base plate.
Nozzle : List of Nozzle Name, Specification, Type, Distance from Ref, Offset and Projection.
Add : Show Nozzle selection form to set nozzle data and add to nozzle list in Main form.
Remove : Remove nozzle data from nozzle list.
Create : Button to generate 3D primitive on PDMS workspace.

Nozzle Select form
Name : Add nozzle data to nozzle list in main form.
Specification : Add nozzle data to nozzle list in main form.
Location : Add nozzle data to nozzle list in main form.
From Ref : Distance Nozzle from Tangen Line (Ref. line) of Vessel.
Offset : Distance Nozzle from center line of Vessel.
Projection : Nozzle Projection (Nozzle Length).
Add to list : Add nozzle data to nozzle list in main form.
Select Spec : Show nozzle specification selection form and choose nozzle specification.

How to use this PDMS model macro :

  1. Select EQUI as CE.
  2. Fill data in PDMS Macro Horizontal Vessel form, for reference please see Horizontal Vessel Modeling parameter below.
  3. Click Add and will show Nozzle Select form.
  4. Fill data of nozzle with click Select Spec button to choose nozzle specification and click Add to list button to add nozzle data to nozzle list. 
  5. Click Remove to remove nozzle data from nozzle list.
  6. Click Create button to generate the 3D model ( primitive ).

Siapa yang tidak mengenal software Cad bernama AutoCAD, tentunya bisa dikatakan raja Cad, tetapi disamping dengan keunggulan yang dimiliki AutoCAD sebanding dengan harga yang ditawarkan dari Autodesk selaku pemilik software AutoCAD.

Dengan harga yang tinggi tentunya tidak semua kalangan dapat membeli software AutoCAD sehingga mereka mencari software CAD alternatif, disini saya ambil sebagai contoh adalah software Cad alternatif yang bisa dipilih sebagai para engineer dan designer yang membutuhkan software Cad, yaitu software cad yang bernama ZWCAD yang dimiliki oleh ZWSoft dan tentunya dengan nilai harga relatif rendah yang bisa dikatakan hanya seperdelapannya.

Disini saya coba membandingkan software AutoCAD dengan ZWCAD mengenai fitur - fitur yang menjadi kelebihan dari masing - masing software.

AutoCAD vs ZWCAD :

Beberapa contoh persamaan fungsi yang sering digunakan di AutoCAD dan terdapat pada ZWCAD :

  1. Dapat menggunakan command line.
  2. Command line dapat diganti sesuai kebutuhan. baca cara mengganti command di AutoCAD
  3. Dapat menggunakan bahasa pemrograman AutoLISP dan VBA. baca mengenal AutoLisp dan download AutoLisp

Kelebihan yang menonjol dari ZWCAD dibandingkan dengan AutoCAD :

  1. Terdapat menu File Compare.

Kekurangan yang menonjol dari ZWCAD dibandingkan dengan AutoCAD :

  1. ZWCAD tidak bisa membaca dynamic block layaknya AutoCAD, jika drawing terdapat object dynamic block yang sebelumnya dibuat di AutoCAD maka dynamic block tersebut hanya terbaca seperti block biasa.
